Fishing is one of the most useful skills to train on Runescape, both because it gives you food to use, and fish can be worth large amounts of money. In this guide, I will give you the basic run through of the non-member Fishing skill. Runescape Fishing levelling can be broken into groups of levels that you will want to catch certain fish in.

• Levels 1-4: To begin, you must first catch shrimps with a fishing net or catch crayfish with a crayfish cage. A popular way to do this is to go to the east of Lumbridge Swamp, on the edge of the river, and catch and drop shrimp, or go east of the Lumbridge church and catch and drop crayfish.
